Night had fallen over Achievement City, and Ryan was moving as fast as he can, trying to get home before his hunger made him too weak to defend himself. He could see Geoff’s house in the distance, quite larger than he remembered. He would be fine. He could make it. He broke through a bunch of trees and stumbled into a clearing, sighing in relief. He looked up—
And astonishment filled his face. This wasn’t Geoff’s house, this was The Altar of Pimps. He was miles away from Downtown Achievement City. How did he not notice? He plopped down in the snow, the pains of hunger hurting him. The monsters would get him now, that was for sure. There was no way he could make it.
A twig snapped behind him. He brandished his sword, ready to face whatever monster was there. He would die fighting, that was for sure. “Go ahead,” he said. “I’m not afraid.”
Well, he obviously could tell she was part enderman, she could tell by the look he was giving her. And he hadn’t put his weapon down, so that meant he was unsure of whether she was going to attack him. Not that she could really blame him, she was pretty strange looking, and she had appeared out of the woods.
“I walked.” K said simply, a small shrug of her shoulders. She didn’t feel like giving away her identity, or going into some long explanation of what she was. After all, this guy still looked like he might attack her, and well, she wasn’t the most trusting when it came to humans.
Ryan rolled his eyes at her response. “I assumed such.” He watched as her eyes drifted to his sword. Reluctantly, he lowered it. He supposed if she wanted to kill him by now, she would’ve. And it was obvious she was no normal enderman.
“Who are you? You’re not a visitor of the others, are you?” The moment he said it he doubted it. She was obviously hiding. Visitors don’t hide.
