Night had fallen over Achievement City, and Ryan was moving as fast as he can, trying to get home before his hunger made him too weak to defend himself. He could see Geoff’s house in the distance, quite larger than he remembered. He would be fine. He could make it. He broke through a bunch of trees and stumbled into a clearing, sighing in relief. He looked up—
And astonishment filled his face. This wasn’t Geoff’s house, this was The Altar of Pimps. He was miles away from Downtown Achievement City. How did he not notice? He plopped down in the snow, the pains of hunger hurting him. The monsters would get him now, that was for sure. There was no way he could make it.
A twig snapped behind him. He brandished his sword, ready to face whatever monster was there. He would die fighting, that was for sure. “Go ahead,” he said. “I’m not afraid.”
K had been hanging out in this area for a couple days, and despite the buildings that were around, no one had really showed up. Although she still stayed away from the buildings, just in case. And it seemed to be working, because she hadn’t run into anyone. Not until that one night though.
K heard him running through the trees, not able to see him at first, but she definitely knew it was time to get out of there. She saw him stop, and thought he might have seen her, it wouldn’t be hard, with the way her eyes felt the need to glow during night hours. But it seemed that he hadn’t, and he had just decided to sit on the ground.
That didn’t seem right, if he just sat there, well he’d be killed for sure. And for some reason, she felt compelled to help him, or at least do something to prevent his death. So carefully, she took a coup steps closer, but of course, stepped on a branch, causing him to freak out and pull out his sword. “I don’t want to harm you.” She said, eyeing him carefully.
Ryan frowned at the female voice. He turned around, and was taken aback by what he saw. She was human, but…she wasn’t. Her eyes glowed the faint purple of an enderman, and small wifts of purple fell off of her as she moved. Ryan’s breath hitched; she was the most remarkable thing he had even seen.
He lifted his sword, still unsure despite her words. “What…who are you? How did you get here?” he asked wearily.
