Ray was tugged along on the call, hearing the address. Ryan’s body was carried into the ambulance and he was out the entire ride. They got to the hospital and he was moved onto a secondary gurney, and moved to the ER.

He saw the older man try to move and sit up, and he forced him down. “Ryan, please. Lay down.” The worry was thick in his voice.

Ryan protested weakly when he was pushed back down. He grimaced, his head feeling like it was ready to burst. “Ray. Ray? Where…” He couldn’t finished the thought, hissing at the pain. His vision was swimming.

Weakly he reached for Ray, grasping his blue shirt. He could vaguely make out the wide-eyed Ray above him. “What’s…going on?"
