Ray leaned his head back over the side of the bed, his legs hooked over the other side, ears twitching as the door opened. His laptop rested on his chest with tumblr opened on it.
“Well hello, Ryan.” he drew out the other’s name, casting an accusatory look his way. “What a surprise.”
Ray sat up and pushed his face very close to Ryan’s, ears twitching and swiveling lightly as he tried to figure out how exactly he wanted to put this into words. “It made me think.”
He was silent for a while, and just as Ryan looked like he was about to open his mouth to say something in response he continued. “It made me think about how it would actually work. You know, you and me. And the only things I thought about that I didn’t like were the situations where it didn’t work. But you know, I think it would. What do you think, Ryan?”
The cow hybrid said nothing at first. What Ray was implying sounded…nice. He leaned closer to Ray, voice low. “I think…we can only know if we try.” He smirked.
